PRIMARY SCHOOL

“If a plant is carefully nurtured by a gardener, it will grow and produce better fruits. Therefore, children must be given a good training from their earliest childhood.”

This is what we at AES Primary are striving to do, our role is identical to that of a gardener and we strive to perform this role to the best of our ability by nurturing these ‘seeds’ at school so that they bear the “Best Fruits” in the years to come.

We have a large Primary section catering for children from the age group of 6 to 10.The total strength of the Primary school is about 1000 students spread of Classes 1 to 4 having 4 divisions each.

21 teaching and 5 Non-Teaching staff members cater comfortably to our Primary School. They are dedicated and talented teachers who work in teams to develop the most effective teaching strategies to ensure our young students are truly grasping the essence of the teachings in every classroom.

SECONDARY SCHOOL

The Secondary section of A.E.S consists of students from Standards 5 to 10, with five divisions in each class from standards 5 to 7, and six divisions in each class from standards 8 to 10.

Our Secondary School Teaching staff is highly qualified;each holding a formal specialization in his/her own field.

Since our school caters to the educational needs of mainly the Telugu community, this is the only institute in the whole of Maharashtra where Telugu as a subject is taught from standard I to XII.

The curriculum followed is of the Maharashtra state board of secondary education.

Our co-curricular activities include Kuchipudi, Art, Computers, Music, Taikwando, Boxing, Kabaddi, Yoga and other sports.

We have literary clubs of various languages which conduct activities such as Poetry recitations, Handwriting competition, Monologues, Essay writing, Extempore speaking, Quizzing etc.

We celebrate Telugu day, Hindi day and Marathi day with various programmes aimed at bringing out the literary flavor and subtleties of the particular language.

We have Science, Math and Environment Studies Clubs and also prepare and conduct our own quiz programmes.

Competitions like Drawing, Singing, Geetachantinc, Poster-making, Dancing, Fancy dress, Mehendi and Rangoli are held to showcase artistic talent.

Counsellors are provided to students for the purpose of behavioral adjustment and stress management.

Career guidance is given to X and XII students.

Weaker students of X are given special coaching after school hours.

E-learning is one of our much appreciated modes of instruction.

We have highly equipped computer labs, Biology labs, a Chemistry lab, Physics lab and even an Electronics lab.

We have special Drawing room, Kuchipudi dance hall and fully equipped gym.

Our school has a library which holds a large collection of books.

We have a stage and playground for general assembly and sports.

The institution has made significant contribution for the past many years since its inception and has earned a name for its high academic and disciplinary standards. Besides the theoretical knowledge that our students imbibe from our well-qualified and energetic faculty, they also receive sound practical training to support their knowledge.

At AES Junior College students are encouraged to pursue their studies vigorously while also participating in a variety of extra-curricular, intellectual, cultural, sporting and community service activities.
