The Andhra Education Society’s High School and Junior College Honored with Motivational Grant for Sports Excellence
The Andhra Education Society’s High School and Junior College have been awarded a motivational grant of ₹41,769 for securing 3rd place in the Mumbai City District Competition medal tally for the academic year 2023-24. Assistant Headmistress Smt. Veturi Padmakumari received the award on behalf of the institution from the District Sports Officer (DSO) and the Ministry of Education. The grant will be directly transferred by the DSO as recognition of our school’s outstanding performance in sports.
The award ceremony took place on National Sports Day, 29th August 2024, at the District Sports Complex in Dharavi. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of School Education and the Directorate of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Maharashtra.
The ceremony was graced by distinguished guests including:

We are excited to share the fantastic news that our students from The Andhra Education Society’s High School and Junior College have achieved remarkable success in the Kabaddi Competition “ KRIDA MAHA KUMBH ” jointly organized by Krida Bharati, Department of Sports and youth affairs and Municipal corporation of Greater Mumbai MCGM on 21/02/2024.
3 teams of our institution won the Mumbai City Title and qualified for Mega Final round at division level
Under 17 Boys team
Out of 54 participating teams, our boys secured the prestigious titles of “Mumbai City Winner” and “Mumbai Division winner”.
Under 14 boys
Out of 37 teams our boys secured “Mumbai City winner” and “Mumbai Division Runner-up” place.
Under 14 girls
out of 30 teams our girls secured “Mumbai City winner” and “Mumbai Division Runner-up” place.
