International Women’s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy in our school on 8th March 2025. The programme was organized to honour and appreciate the strength, dedication, and achievements of women in all walks of life.
The celebration began with a prayer song and the lighting of the lamp. The occasion was graced by Honourable General Secretary Shri. A.S.R. Krishnaprasad Sir and Respected Vice President Smt. Harileela Madam. Both dignitaries addressed the gathering with inspiring words, emphasizing the importance of women’s empowerment through education and self-confidence. They appreciated the invaluable contributions of women teachers and staff members to the progress of the institution.
The Headmistress, Mrs. V. Padmakumari, in her address, highlighted that Women’s Day is not only a celebration but also a reminder of equality, dignity, and respect for women in all spheres of life.
The event was made lively and colourful with teachers’ performances, including dance, music, and a graceful fashion show. Fun and laughter filled the atmosphere as games were organized for the lady staff, and spot prizes were distributed to enthusiastic participants.
The programme concluded with a vote of thanks and the distribution of small gifts as tokens of love and appreciation to all women staff members. The day was a perfect blend of inspiration, entertainment, and celebration of womanhood.
