National Sports Day Celebration at Bharatratna Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex

On August 29, 2025, the District Sports Office, Mumbai City, proudly hosted the National Sports Day celebration at the Bharatratna Rajiv Gandhi Sports Complex to commemorate the birth anniversary of the legendary hockey player Major Dhyan Chand.

The event witnessed the presence of elite athletes, Olympians, and international medalists, who inspired young participants with their achievements and words of encouragement.

Our girls’ team delivered an outstanding performance, securing Second Place in the Box Cricket Competition, showcasing their skill, teamwork, and sportsmanship.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all the players for their exceptional efforts and achievements. A special thank you to Padma Madam for her invaluable support and for granting permission to organize and participate in this memorable event. Her encouragement continues to motivate our athletes to strive for excellence in sports.
