Annual Day 2023-24
On December 21, 2023, The Andhra Education Society School & Junior College, Wadala, Mumbai- 31, commemorated its Annual Day – 2023 at the Sri Shanmukhananda Chandrasekharendra Saraswati Auditorium with fervor and zeal. The event, graced by the esteemed presence of Chief Guest Mr. Jasti Krishna Kishore, CA, IRS Chief Commissioner of Income Tax, Bengaluru, commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. Mr. Krishna Kishore was honored by the management with a bouquet, memento, and shawls, acknowledging his notable contributions.
Addressing the gathering, Andhra Education Society President Mr. B Rammohan Rao highlighted Mr. Krishna Kishore’s accomplishments, emphasizing his dedication to his profession and significant strides in fostering Andhra Pradesh’s development. Chairman Board of Trustees, Mr. S V Rama Rao Garu, commended the students’ outstanding performance in HSC and SSC examinations and applauded their achievements in sports and the arts, noting the institution’s remarkable growth from a modest beginning of 9 students in 1946 to nearly 4000 students today. Secretary Mr. A S R Krishna Prasad underscored the institution’s holistic approach to education, emphasizing not only academic excellence but also proficiency in sports, mobile repairing, and robotics.
The commemorative event also witnessed Mrs. Santisree, the school’s Headmistress, sharing the institution’s achievements, including an impressive 97.89% in HSC and a perfect 100% in SSC in the previous academic year. Notably, the chief guest, Mr. Krishna Kishore, emphasized the importance of hard work, perseverance, and imbibing moral values, urging students to draw inspiration from iconic leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, and Abdul Kalam to achieve lofty aspirations. The event culminated in mesmerizing cultural performances by students, showcasing their talents in dance, drama, and music, leaving an indelible mark on the celebratory occasion, concluded with the rendition of the National Anthem.
