NSDL, India’s first Corporate Social Responsibility Project, and Stem Learning Private Limited have collaborated to set up a mini science center at the Andhra Education Society in Mumbai. The center was inaugurated on April 5, 2023, by Mrs. Padmaja Chundur, NSDL’s M.D. and CEO, who was the chief guest. The event was graced by other important figures, including Mr. Samar Banwat, Executive Director of NSDL, and Dr. Jayant Joshi, a BARC scientist. Members of NSDL and Stem Learning Private Ltd team were also present.

During her speech, Mrs. Padmaja Chundur stated that the mini science center, which was set up for the first time, will be further developed based on the experiences and needs of the students. She emphasized the importance of financial education for students at an early age and expressed her organization’s commitment to providing appropriate support.

Dr. Jayant Joshi also spoke at the event and explained the necessity of laboratory facilities for scientific education in his own unique style. The event was attended by Andhra Education Society President Mr. B. Rammohan Rao, General Secretary Mr. A. S.R. Krishnaprasad, and the school’s Principal, Mrs. L. Shantisree, among others.

The establishment of this mini science center is a significant step towards improving scientific education in India, and we applaud NSDL and Stem Learning Private Limited for their collaboration in this endeavor. We hope that this initiative will inspire other organizations to take similar steps to support education and scientific development in the country.
