Our Archery Boys Team showcased excellent skill and focus at the Lakshyavwedh Archery Competition, held on Sunday, 16th February 2025, at Borivali.

Budo Martial Arts
The Budo Martial Arts District-Level Competition was held on 3rd August 2025 at SIWS School, Wadala, where our martial artists displayed exceptional skill, strength, and discipline.

The Dharavi Sports Club, Mumbai City, organized a Box Cricket Tournament on 29th August 2025. Our Under-14 Girls Team performed brilliantly and won the Silver Medal.

In the District-Level Fencing Competition held on 15 th August 2025 at IMS School, Ulwe (Raigad),
Vinay Duna achieved an outstanding feat by winning the Gold Medal in the Foil category.

Kabaddi
The Bunt Sangha’s S.M. Shetty High School & Jr. College, Powai hosted the Kabaddi Tournament on 5 th July 2025, marking the opening event of the academic year 2025–26.
Our Boys and Girls teams performed exceptionally, both advancing through the preliminary rounds.

The Maharashtra Yogasan Federation organized the Yoga Competition on 27th July 2025 at Shishuvan School, Matunga. Our students demonstrated excellent concentration, flexibility, and composure throughout the event.

Achievements in District Sports Competitions – 2025
Our students have excelled in multiple sports disciplines during the District Sports Organization (DSO) 2025 competitions, bringing home remarkable results. Here’s a detailed overview of our achievements in various sports:
Yoga
On 22nd September 2025, our students participated in the DSO District Yoga Competition held at the Dharavi Sports Complex and showcased outstanding discipline, balance, and focus throughout the event.

Our young yogis impressed the judges with their perfect postures, synchronization, and calm composure — truly reflecting the essence of yoga as a blend of strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. The Fencing (Foil) competition took place on 1st and 3rd October 2025 at the Dharavi Sports Complex. Our student Vinay Duna displayed exceptional skill in the competition:

Exciting News!
We are thrilled to announce a historic achievement for The Andhra Education Society! For the first time ever, our Kabaddi team has triumphed over MD College in a clean, competitive match, securing a remarkable 7-point lead at the final whistle.
Our Under-17 Boys’ team, under the exceptional guidance of Coach Nishant Patil, has not only claimed the Gold Medal but also earned 1st place in Mumbai City, qualifying for the Division Level.

The Andhra Education Society’s High School and Junior College Honored with Motivational Grant for Sports Excellence
The Andhra Education Society’s High School and Junior College have been awarded a motivational grant of ₹41,769 for securing 3rd place in the Mumbai City District Competition medal tally for the academic year 2023-24. Assistant Headmistress Smt. Veturi Padmakumari received the award on behalf of the institution from the District Sports Officer (DSO) and the Ministry of Education. The grant will be directly transferred by the DSO as recognition of our school’s outstanding performance in sports.
The award ceremony took place on National Sports Day, 29th August 2024, at the District Sports Complex in Dharavi. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of School Education and the Directorate of Sports and Youth Services, Government of Maharashtra.

We are excited to share the fantastic news that our students from The Andhra Education Society’s High School and Junior College have achieved remarkable success in the Kabaddi Competition “ KRIDA MAHA KUMBH ” jointly organized by Krida Bharati, Department of Sports and youth affairs and Municipal corporation of Greater Mumbai MCGM on 21/02/2024.
3 teams of our institution won the Mumbai City Title and qualified for Mega Final round at division level

Out of 54 participating teams, our boys secured the prestigious titles of “Mumbai City Winner” and “Mumbai Division winner”.

Out of 37 teams our boys secured “Mumbai City winner” and “Mumbai Division Runner-up” place.

out of 30 teams our girls secured “Mumbai City winner” and “Mumbai Division Runner-up” place.
